Today the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations blessed and celebrated Phase 2 of the Odgen Point Breakwater Mural headed up by artists Butch Dick and Darlene Gait. The Victoria Harbour Authority sponsored the mural. Shirley Lang a First Nations Caterer and owner of Kitchens of Distinction provided the food for the event. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful ceremon with a large crowd in attendance. Check out the pictures. The large crowd was filled with residents, tourists, politicians, First Nation elders and members, and one approving eagle and heron.
